How do I access the ad-free podcasts in my podcast player?

To subscribe in your favorite podcast player:

  1. Go to
  2. If you're on a desktop or laptop computer, enter your phone number and we'll text a private link that you can use to add the selected show or feed to your podcast app.
  3. If you are on a mobile device, tap the name of your favorite podcast app to subscribe.
  4. Listen! Your premium episodes will appear under the show’s new icon in your podcast app library.

Running into issues? Or don’t see your preferred app in the list of supported podcast apps? You may be able to add your premium feed to the app manually. Copy your link from the Manual Link Setup section, then consult your app’s user guide.

What about Stitcher?

Sorry, at this time the members-only feed isn’t available on Stitcher or other podcast apps that do not support private podcast feed subscriptions.

How do I change my plan?

You can upgrade your membership at any time from your account page when signed in:

Under Change Plan click Change.

The cost of the new plan will be offset by the prorated amount for time left on your original subscription. The date of upgrade becomes your new renewal date. 

If you downgrade, your change won’t take effect until your next renewal date.

How do I edit my credit card information?

How do I listen to premium in my web browser?

To stream your premium podcasts from a web browser:

  1. Log into your account at
  2. Scroll to the Listen Now section of the page, below the subscription setup area. Locate the episode you want to listen to and click the play button.

I don't live in the US. Can I join The lab?

Yes. The lab is available in most countries, though you will need a credit or debit card to subscribe. We regret we are unable to send swag items to foreign countries that require a VAT.

I use Pocket Casts. Why am I getting an error?

Some members who use Pocket Casts have reported that it may take more than one attempt to subscribe. If the player doesn't find the feed after your first search, please try again later.

When will I get my swag after joining?

After you join, we will send you an email asking you to provide us with your address. If you’d prefer not to receive your swag you can either not provide us with your address, or you may click the link in the email indicating you wish to forgo your swag. We process swag requests on a weekly basis.

Is my Radiolab membership tax deductible?

Radiolab is a part of New York Public Radio, a 501c(3) non-profit organization. A portion of your payment may be deductible. Please refer to your emailed acknowledgment for more information on your payment, and consult your tax advisor for information specific to your situation.

Thank you for being such a loyal donor. We are rolling out invitations to our existing donors over the next few weeks. If you have not received your invitation, try logging in here to access your feed. You must use the email address associated with your original donation to access the feed.
